2020 IRA Contributions To ALL US Correspondents: The federal government extended the tax filing and payment deadline. This also allows 2020 IRA Contribution to be made until May, 17, 2021. This deadline applies to all types of IRAs, EXCEPT SEP IRA and SIMPLE IRA contributions which have separate deadlines. As in previous years, deposits mailed through an IRS approved delivery service and post marked on or before May 17, 2021 can be accepted for deposit as 2020 contributions. The IRS approved delivery services are the US Postal Service, DHL, FedEx and UPS. Please see below link to IRS for details.
