Bill serves as the Chairman and President of TAG Group, Inc. a diversified financial services company owning a broker-dealer, a Registered Investment Advisor, and an Insurance GA. He also serves on several volunteer boards and vestries. Bill started his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and has held a variety of positions from specialist clerk to CEO of an independent broker- dealer. He has worked for Fortune 500 financial firms (Drexel Burnham Lambert, Smith Barney), a pension consulting firm (Clifford Russell an affiliate of the Frank Russell Company), a captive insurance company (AXA/Equitable), a wholesale insurance company (Hartford Life), an independent broker- dealer (AGES Financial Services, Ltd) and his own financial services firm. Bill is an avid sailor and active philanthropist.
John has more than 30 years of professional experience. Currently, he is the head of TAG 2.0, a financial advisory and planning team within Trust Advisory Group Ltd. Before leading TAG 2.0, John was instrumental in transforming investment management firm, Rydex, into Guggenheim which is the premier provider of non-traditional investments and exchange traded funds. John also created a group of retail mutual funds for high-net-worth individuals on behalf of Stein Roe Farnham (now known as Columbia Threadneedle). John managed one of the industry’s first bank broker-dealer platforms, enhancing the overall revenue of more than 26 banking institutions. He also designed the distribution and marketing strategy for Liberty Financial Co. John is considered an industry expert on capital markets, alternative investments, and exchange traded funds. Due to John’s expertise, he is often in demand as speaker for national industry and firm-sponsored conferences and events. John is proud to have shared the stage with Dr. Harry Markowitz, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his seminal work on Modern Portfolio Theory. In his free time, John enjoys playing tennis and golf.
Stan has been an investment advisor representative for over 35 years. As a part of TAG, he manages fee-based investment accounts for his clients. Stan has held a number of volunteer positions, including Chairman of the Board of Selectman and Town Moderator for the Town of Lancaster. In addition, he has held seats on the Finance Committees for the Towns of Clinton and Lancaster. He has extensive experience, serving as a Trustee of the Doctor Franklin Perkins School and the Clinton Savings Bank Board of Directors. In 2007, during his time as an investment consultant to the Town of Clinton Contributory Retirement Board, the Town earned the highest returns in the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Starr holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Worcester State University. When he is not working with his clients, Stan enjoys golfing and gardening.
Since 2004, Kyle has worked with investors to take advantage of investment opportunities across all markets. As the Due Diligence Officer for the broker-dealer and RIA, he focuses on investment strategy and structure. As an active member of industry groups ADISA and the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives, Kyle often speaks on panels relating to regulation, asset class, and portfolio construction. He also teaches continuing education courses to accountants, lawyers, business brokers, and real estate professionals, helping them strategically apply the tax code to maintain and grow wealth. Throughout his financial services career, he has worked with some of the world’s largest wealth and asset management firms, including UBS and Natixis Investment Management. Kyle lives in southern New Hampshire with his wife and son; outside of work, he can be found on the ice officiating NCAA hockey games and traveling during the offseason.
Adam has been a Wealth Associate for Trust Advisory Group Ltd.’s TAG 2.0 division since the team’s inception over two years ago. As an advisor and a broker, he serves as an advocate for client interests by managing assets and developing financial planning strategies. Areas of concentration include portfolio management, passive real-estate investment, and strategic income. Prior to joining TAG 2.0, Adam worked as an analyst intern for Tablerock Infrastructure Partners, a Private Equity and Venture Capital firm in the San Francisco area. Adam received a B.S. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 2018 and now serves on Trust Advisory Group’s Investment Committee.
Sam is a Wealth Associate for Trust Advisory Group Ltd.’s TAG 2.0 division. This role has continued his financial services career in the Boston area where Sam calls home. Prior to joining the firm, Sam began his career with Fidelity Investments as a Financial Representative after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014 with a Business Management degree. Sam now serves on Trust Advisory Group’s Investment Committee in addition to working with individual clients as an advisor and a broker. In his free time, Sam plays and coaches rugby for the Boston Irish Wolfhounds Rugby Football Club.
Eric is a Wealth Associate for Trust Advisory Group Ltd.’s TAG 2.0 division. Currently, he works as an advisor and a broker for individual clients along with serving on the firm’s Investment Committee. Eric has been in the financial services industry for more than 19 years. He started his career at Leerink Swann where he worked with individuals to plan for their long-term financial goals. Eric also worked with Bob Lang from thestreet.com where he helped clients manage their portfolios. Eric serves on the West Newbury Baseball Board and has coached his two sons in youth sports for 11 years.
